long time no see {2.4}

Well, it’s been a minute since I participated in Katie’s Marvelous in my Monday, huh? I’m glad to be back and have a bunch of pretty marvelous things to share today.

As always, thanks to Katie for hosting. Check out Healthy Diva Eats for other blogger posts!

Marvelous is…the new Chobani bite flavor, coffee and dark chocolate. Especially when eaten with a measuring spoon because we forgot to run the dishwasher. #collegeproblems

Marvelous is…getting the “recipe” for Sarah’s trail mix. I’ve been a trail mix fiend as of late and I can’t wait to try it Picky Runner style.

Marvelous is…a 50-mile week. I am honestly so surprised (and happy!) that I was able to hit 50 miles this week. It’s a milestone for sure. The best part is that I wasn’t even planning to do it. Although I have a half marathon coming up at the end of this month, (time really flies) I’m not pressuring myself to do any sort of crazy training plan. I’m running the race for fun, dressed as Belle, of course!

Marvelous is…my Starbucks coffee. Since my class schedule leaves me with hectic mornings, I no longer have time in the morning to get Starbucks on the weekdays. I can see some weekend Starbucks trips in my future. In the meantime, I make do with the on-campus coffee, which isn’t all that bad!

Marvelous is…peanut butter and jelly. I was feeling like a total bum on Saturday and was in need of some comfort food. So, I had it in the form of a peanut butter, jelly, and banana sandwich. That one was a winner.

Marvelous is…Superbowl snacks. Last night, my friends and I got together for a Superbowl party and we had some pretty rockin’ food.

Speaking of food…today’s #28DBC update is my food photo collages. I made these over winter break, and I have to say, they look pretty darn good. I still have to tell you what’s actually in the photos…but all in good time, yes?

28 day challenge

That’s all for today! Hope everyone has a great start to their week.

    Hehe pickyrunner style ;) It’s just so delicious! Glad you and your friends had a fun time watching the superbowl party and YES to comfort food Saturdays after a crazy night. Isn’t it amazing how those 50 mile weeks just pile on when you don’t realize it? I’m hoping it happens again this week but I don’t think it will since I had a rest day yesterday… oh well. Next week!

  2. Amanda @ .running with spoons.

    Hah! To be honest, I think trying to eat with a measuring spoon would be way more effort than actually manually washing one spoon – those buggers are just -not- a good shape. And I completely agree that nut butter, jelly, and banana sandwiches make one of the best comfort foods ever.

    Happy Monday, girlie!

    i just had my first chobani bite and though it was WAY too small for my liking (you know because i could eat 2 gallons of coffee flavored yogurt) i definitely was a huge fan. way to go on the 50 mile week! not a milestone i’ll ever hit, but congrats on hitting it yourself! i’m really impressed!
